Return & Exchange Policy
At Laptop Home, we care about your satisfaction. This Return & Exchange Policy explains your rights as a customer and our obligations as a store.
General Terms
To benefit from return or exchange, you must provide the original invoice or any proof of purchase from Laptop Home.
The product must be as close as possible to its original condition, with all accessories, including the box, charger, cables, manuals, and any free gifts if applicable.
You may request an exchange or a return/refund in the following cases:
A manufacturing defect.
The product does not match the specifications stated on the product page or invoice.
Products showing signs of misuse, breakage, tampering, or repair by unauthorized service centers will not be accepted.
If the return or exchange is not due to a manufacturing defect, the customer bears the shipping costs. If the defect is confirmed, Laptop Home bears the shipping costs.
Laptop Policy
Used Laptops
Warranty period for used laptops is 15 days from the date of purchase.
If a technical issue or manufacturing defect appears within the first 15 days:
You may receive an immediate replacement with a similar or close-specification device, subject to availability, or
Return the laptop and receive a full refund.
After 15 days, return or exchange is no longer available, and service will be limited to repair or maintenance according to the applicable warranty terms.
New Laptops
Warranty period for new laptops is 6 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the invoice or in the manufacturer’s warranty.
Within the first 15 days from the date of purchase:
If a manufacturing defect or technical issue is confirmed by our technical team, you may:
Receive an immediate replacement with a new unit of the same model, or
Return the device and receive a refund.
After 15 days and until the end of the 6-month warranty:
The device will be accepted for repair through authorized service centers.
A cash refund is only possible if repair is impossible or the same defect recurs significantly, as confirmed by a technical report.
Desktop Computers
The device type, whether new or used, and the warranty period will be clearly stated on the invoice or product page.
If a manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, the device will be inspected by our technical team and then either repaired or replaced, depending on the nature of the defect.
All general terms regarding product condition, invoice, and accessories apply to desktop computers.
Accessories and Peripherals
This includes mice, keyboards, headsets, cables, laptop batteries, lithium batteries, bags, kitchen equipment, external storage devices, and internal storage devices.
Accessories
Warranty for these products follows the manufacturer’s policy as stated on the packaging, product page, or warranty card.
Exchange or repair is available within the warranty period in case of a manufacturing defect only, provided there are no signs of misuse, breakage, or tampering, and the product is returned with all accessories and packaging as much as possible.
Cables
Warranty for cables follows the brand information listed on the product or product page.
Cables with a confirmed manufacturing defect within the warranty period will be replaced, subject to the general terms above.
Laptop Batteries and Lithium Batteries
These products are covered by the brand’s own warranty policy as shown on the packaging or invoice.
In case of a confirmed manufacturing defect within the specified warranty period, the battery will be handled according to the warranty terms, based on a technical report.
Bags
Bags are eligible for return or exchange in the following cases:
Manufacturing defects in stitching, zippers, wheels, or similar obvious defects.
The received color or model does not match the order.
The bag must be in near-original condition, not excessively used, and returned with packaging as much as possible.
Kitchen Equipment
The warranty period for each kitchen appliance will be stated on the invoice or product page.
In case of a manufacturing defect, the product will be inspected by our technical team and either repaired under warranty or replaced with a similar product if repair is not possible or the defect recurs.
Storage Devices
Storage devices must be free of breakage, burn marks, or damage caused by misuse or incorrect connections.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the specified warranty period, the unit will be repaired or replaced according to the technical report.
Laptop Home is not responsible for any data loss on storage devices. Customers are responsible for backing up their important data before sending any device for service or replacement.
How to Request a Return or Exchange
You can request a return or exchange by visiting a Laptop Home store, if available, or by contacting customer service through phone, WhatsApp, or the email address published on our website.
After submitting your request, we will register it and inform you of the required steps, such as bringing in the product, shipping it to us, or filling out a form.
Our technical team will inspect the product within a reasonable time and inform you of the decision, with a clear explanation.
If your return is approved, we will refund the amount using, as far as possible, the same payment method used in the original transaction, within the timeframe set by our internal processes.
In cases where the return is not due to a manufacturing defect, shipping fees and any payment gateway fees may be deducted from the refunded amount, if applicable.
